Disability Data Drive

Being disabled and working in the arts is hard.

We’re here to do something about it.

We’re thrilled to present the Disability Data Drive report — a new research project from Radical Body that digs deep into what it’s really like to be disabled in the UK arts scene right now.

Over 2025 and 2026, we’ve been working on a research project looking into the barriers faced by disabled people working in the creative sector. Over 250 people trusted us with their experiences, and we’ve collated their responses into a comprehensive report that highlights where disabled arts professionals are struggling the most, and looks into what employers can do to help.

The report takes a look at what is and isn't working, identifying some of the problems that disabled people face across the sector, and what can be done to help. The information is gathered in a short 12 page report including graphs and quotes from interviewees.
